Galen Pearcy, Senior Pastor

Pastor Pearcy first came to this congregation on Fathers Day 1991 and has now served as our pastor for over twenty years (on a forty year assignment). He and his wife, Davene, have ministered side by side since their wedding day in 1988. The Pearcy’s arrived in Bentonville without children and still in their twenties. The years have come and gone and many things have changed but their passion for people remains the same.

On the platform with her husband you will find Davene. You will never find a more supportive pastor’s wife with a passion for ministry and for her family. You will find more about Davene under the Worship, Drama, & Media heading.

Since arriving in Bentonville, the Lord has blessed our pastors with three wonderful children who are actively serving in ministry:

Tabitha is a licensed minister serving as a full time missionary to the nation of Haiti. She is a graduate of Victory Bible Institute - School of Worship in Tulsa, Ok. Where she served as an "In Ministry Training" team member, on the santuary worship team, bus pastor and volunteer at Choosen Youth ministry. She perviously has served in world missions in Norway, Mexico and Canada.

She is a graduate of Bentonville High School, where she was a member of the Chamber Choir, Acappela Choir and marching band.

Joshua is a Junor at Bentonville High School. At church Josh is our head Usher for our Saturday night services and helped for five years with Mobile Kidz Blast! Josh has a love for technology and works for the Bentonville Public Schools at the Arrends Art Center as part of the tech team.

Seth is a Sophomore at Bentonville High School. At school he sings in the Men's Sophmore Select choir and works for Arrends Art Center. Seth loves serving, in the sound booth, Children's Church or anywhere else he can. If you can't find something at RLC, ask Seth. He also served with Mobile Kidz Blast! for five years.

Pastor Pearcy serves as Benton County Deputy Sheriff-Chaplain overseeing 35 jail ministers; serves as president of the Full Gospel Evangelistic Association overseeing this international network of churches and ministers covering 12 nations. He is vice president of: “In His Name Ministries” of El Salvador and serves as overseeing elder of "The Road" Outreach Center (a drug and alcohol recovery center) in Webb City, MO. Serves as a member of the "Parents as Teachers" advisory board with the Bentonville School District.

Pastor Pearcy has a Bible degree from Southwestern University in Waxahachie, TX. He also holds a teaching degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, OK. As well, he has earned his Masters in Biblical Literature from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO.

Since 2002 has served as an instructor at Ecclesia College, in Springdale, AR, and served five years as chairman of the Bible and Theology Department.

Rocco Vanni, Assistant Pastor/Outreach & Missions Director

Rocco has served on the Pastoral staff at Radiant Life since October 2006, serving as our children's pastor for over a year and founding our Mobile Kidz Blast! Sidewalk Sunday School ministry. He now serves full time as the Assistant to the Pastor as well as overseeing our outreach & missions ministries. He also serves as our website webmaster.

He holds an Associate of General Studies degree from Campbellsville University as well as a Bachelor of Christian Ministries degree from Ecclesia College where he now serves as the Introduction to Evangelism instructor. He is also a graduate of the School of Ministry at Victory Bible Institute, in Tulsa,OK.

Rocco served as a youth pastor while in KY and served on staff at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa helping lead their Mobile Kidz Club ministry. He has a passion to reach the lost and see believers equipped to fulfill their role in the Great Commission.

Radiant Life is so blessed to have this man of God working as part of our ministry team.

TaQuana Cooper, Children's Ministries/Drama Director

TaQuana Cooper is currently serving as our Children's Pastor. Overseeing our One Way Kidz, and both our Wednesday night and Saturday night children's ministry teams. She has previously served RLC on our youth ministry leadership team, Community Thrift Store ministry, Mothers Day out teacher and a site director for Mobile Kidz Blast!.

She is the currently the longest serving pastoral staff member at RLC having began serving full time at Radiant Life since the fall of 2005.

She was raised in a Godly home where she was blessed to have both parents living for and serving God throughout her upbringing. After graduating from high school, she attended Hutchinson Community College and went on to graduate from Apostolic Faith Bible College in Baxter Springs, KS. TaQuana is certified in both CPR and First Aid.

We at RLC are proud of TaQuana's dedication and committment to the Lord and her passion to minister to children of all ages.

Davene Pearcy, Music Ministries/Community Thrift Store Manager

Davene Pearcy has been leading worship at Radiant Life for the majority of the past 20 years. In addition to overseeing Worship & Media Ministries of the church, she manages our Community Thrift Store, ministering to those in need.

Davene grew up as the daughter of Dr. Lester L. Lowry, an Assemblies of God evangelist and pastor. She attended nine schools in her twelve years of public education and graduated from Spiro High School in Spiro, OK. She has attended Carl Albert Junior College, Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, with majors in Bible and Sign Language.

She has been married for over 24 years to the Senior Pastor, Galen Pearcy. The couple have three children: Tabitha, Joshua, and Seth.

Sarah Bedgood, Discipleship Director

Sarah serves as the discipleship director at Radiant Life. She came to us in March 2009 from one of the largest outreach ministries in the world- The Los Angeles Dream Center where she served as the Human Resource & Internship Director and as well as the pastor's assistant for Metro Kidz International.

She has also worked on staff with Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, OK serving as the Assistant Coordinator of the second largest Sidewalk Sunday School outreach in America- Mobile Kidz Club. She has attended both Oral Roberts University and Victory Bible Institute.

As the full time discipleship director at Radiant Life Church, Sarah oversees our Life Groups and serves as a site director for, Mobile Kidz Blast!, and our new internship program & bible school .

Stephen & Ivonne Romero, Pastors of International Ministries

God brought Stephen and Ivonne Romero to the United States in 1999 to serve the international community and to continue their ministerial training after serving the Lord in their home country of Peru since their youth. Upon arriving in the U.S., they began working in ministry at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma where they served for ten years.

Stephen graduated from Victory Bible Institute in 2007 and also attended Tulsa Community College. Stephen has completed ESL (English as a Second Language) at the University Language Institute in Tulsa, OK in December 2000 and completed Victory's Leadership Equipping Track.

They served in various capacities on staff at Victory Christian Center before feeling a strong calling of God to move to Northwest Arkansas, along with their two children, Deuel and Dara. They began serving at Radiant Life in 2009.

They are passionate for God and their hearts are towards people. Their work with international people is reaching the growing intercultural community of Northwest Arkansas for Jesus.

Mike & Lucinda Helmick, Youth Pastors

Pastor Mike first came to RLC to visit a friend who was a student at Ecclesia College. After his extended visit he returned to Pennsylania for a time, before moving back as a student in 2009. During this time he taught Children's Church under TaQanna Cooper on Sunday mornings and also lead the Wednesday night children's ministry and also served for a time, as a team leader in IGNITE youth. Mike previously had served as an assistant youth leader in his church in Pennsylania.

While working in ministry here, he met and fell in love with Lucinda and they were married in December 2011. They both graduated from Ecclesia College in May 2012. Then became youth pastors in the summer of 2012. They also continue teaching once a month in children's church and serve in the bus ministry. Mike also serves on the church board of advisors.

During the early mornings and after school you will find Mike serving as a school bus driver for Bentonville Public Schools.
