Fellowship Ministries Purpose: To encourage relationships among our church family and to love new individuals into fellowship (care given within the church body). This ministry is divided into categories:
Throughout the year we have times of fellowship with a potluck meal before or after a regularly scheduled service. This includes special themed banquets (i.e., Valentine's Day). These events are a great time to come and get to know the Radiant Life family.
One Sunday night each month during the summer, RLC will host "all church" picnics in nearby city parks. Each picnic will have a fun theme (Hawaiian Luau, Mexican Fiesta, August On Ice, etc.) filled with great food, fellowship, and family activities.
We are so excited about a new addition to the activity calendar SOFTBALL. For many years we have dreamed of a sports team and now it is a reality. This promotes health and good sportsmanship among the church and with other local church teams.
This is often an under-appreciated but vital ministry for keeping the church kitchen clean, organized and stocked as well as the purchase of all the ministry supplies. |
